Tenancy Reference Data
Tenancy Reference Data is data which is collected by Excentum from Landlords and their Agents in relation to tenants periods of tenancy in their residential properties.
This data contains factual information about a specific tenancy period, and will also contain the personal opinion of Landlords or their Agents about specific aspects or issues directly related to the tenancy period of a tenant.
This Tenancy Reference Data can be accessed by other Business Members where they are processing applications for residential Tenancy, Employment, Credit or Finance – where tenancy reference information or tenancy / residence verification is required to support applications.
The data supplied by Excentum can be used, by Business Members, in conjunction with other information provided by applicants and data obtained from other data sources, to make fully informed decisions on the effective eligibility of applicants who have applied for Tenancy, Employment, Credit or Financial Services.
Business Membership
Excentum processes Tenancy Reference Data as supplied by Landlords, Letting Agents, Letting Agencies, Property Management Companies and other authorised agents acting on behalf of the Landlord of the property.
The Tenancy Reference Data we hold is data provided by those individual Landlords and their Agents, as it relates to specfic tenancy periods of their residential properties dating back up to a 6 year period.
Our Business Members can request the use of our Tenancy Reference Data Matching Services based on the Tenancy Reference data we hold.
Following a request from a Business Member we will seek to match the data the Business Member has supplied against any Tenancy Reference data held by Excentum.
Where a Data Match occurs, we provide this data to the Landlord / Landlords Agent / Business Member on a ‘per record ‘ basis – with a maximum of 100 free searches per month.
